A New Tool

I finally broke down and got one of these...

In case you aren't familiar with what this is, it's a Silhouette Cameo, and it can cut almost anything! Paper, fabric, vinyl and more. I can't wait to explore all the possibilities with this new tool. I wanted to share a couple things I've created with it so far.

First, I shared a project on the Fancy Pants Designs blog yesterday that I used my Cameo for. Here's a peek at it.

If you head over to my post, I show you how to make these and I've included some SVG and Studio files that you  can use with the Cameo or Silhouette SD. This was a really fun and quick project.

And here is another project that I used the Cameo for, along with some Fancy Pants Designs Hopscotch collection.

I love the Hopscotch collection!! Aren't the colors so fun? The vine pattern cut from my background paper was last week's FREE Shape of the Week from Silhouette.

I simply cut a few of the vines from my background paper and then layered different strips of patterned paper from the Hopscotch collection behind. My title is also a shape I downloaded from Silhouette for 99 cents (most of their shapes are this cheap!). The old school looking library card and envelope are a Fancy Friday Freebie download available on the Fancy Pants Designs website. They have a different FREE download each Friday too!
